Re: FIX Fx 56 - NoScript icon disappeared on 5.1.2 update Post by diverjer » Sat 1:57 pm One thing I forgot to say that was strange and out of place, when NoScripts displayed update page, it had a message to update to 5.1.2, that I was on 5.1.1 and the reason was that most likely most current version was not on Mozilla. For example, a button cannot both have a tooltip and toggle a modal. I'm staying on the ESR track, until I get a sense of where Mozilla is headed with this mandatory modernization.
You can bet the first setting I clicked on Firefox was never update. The icon appeared, but about 30 minutes later I noticed it had gone again. When I realised the icon had disappeared, I removed NoScript from the extensions list and re-installed it.
I'm using Noscript with 64-bit Firefox 56.0, on Windows 7 Pro-64. I just finished dropping back to FF52.4.1 (ESR), and NoScript came back. The NoScript icon is not present in the available list. It's a combination of 5.1.2 and FF56, which I also just 'upgraded' to.
All extension icons except NoSquint disappeared FF3.6. I know the bookmarks are there because I can click on the arrow ( that is in left side of the bar) to show the ones that didn't had space to show up because it was full, and the bookmarks are.
